When Hip Hop Meets Classical

I recently had the pleasure of doing a shoot for three outrageously talented friends of mine, who have come together to create a bridge between musical genres. Their project is called Hip Hop Meets Classical, and they give you an enjoyably classy perspective of both.


When they asked me to do the shoot, I couldn't turn down working with such talent. Each of these artist show that musical talent has no boundaries; with soulful vocals and guitar by Kevin Thomas (of Creative Minds Lifestyle Group), rhythmic lyrical content by Wiggs (of Knovic Recordings), and narrative cello compositions by Malcolm Parson (of Knovic Recordings).  

This shoot not only captured the liveliness and cheerfulness that the HHMC Project offers, but also the passion that these guys have for their craft. This was a shoot enjoyable enough to not call it work. Preview some of the photos below and check out the rest my the gallery.


The Hip Hop Meets Classical project will be performing at Smith's Olde Bar on Monday June 4th at 10:00pm. $5 cover.
